Nano Ring Hair Extensions in Istanbul
Nano rings work like micro rings but the bead is roughly 2 mm instead of 3 mm, about 90 percent smaller in volume. That makes them the method for fine hair, where a standard ring would be heavier than the strand holding it.
Also sold as nano extensions, nano bead extensions. Different salons use different names for the same method.
The difference is the bead
A micro ring is around 3 mm. A nano bead is around 2 mm, which is roughly 90 percent less volume. On fine hair that is the difference between a bond you can see through the parting and one you cannot.
Why it takes longer
Smaller bead means smaller sections, which means more of them. A nano fitting is typically three to five hours rather than two to four. That is not upselling, it is arithmetic. If someone quotes you a two-hour nano full head, ask how many strands they are planning.
Made for hair worn up
Nano is the method we recommend when a client says the first thing they do at home is tie their hair back. The bond row disappears under a ponytail in a way micro rings do not.
Who this is not for
Very thick, coarse hair. The smaller bead holds less, so thick hair needs more strands and the appointment gets long and expensive for no benefit. Micro ring or weft is the better answer there.
Aftercare
- Same-day washing is fine.
- No conditioner at the roots.
- Loop brush, always supporting the root with your free hand.
- Refit at three to four months.

Are nano rings better than micro rings?
Not better, different. Nano is smaller and made for fine hair. On thick hair it means more strands, more hours and more money for a bond nobody would have seen anyway.
Will nano rings show in a ponytail?
Correctly placed, no. That is the main reason the method exists. Placement matters more than bead size, so tell us before we start that you wear your hair up.
How many nano strands do I need?
Usually 150 to 300, more than micro rings because each bead holds less. We count and quote before starting.
