Halo Hair Extensions in Istanbul
A halo is a single weft of hair sitting on a thin transparent wire that rests around the crown of your head, hidden under your own hair. Nothing clips, bonds or pulls. It goes on in seconds and comes off in seconds.
Also sold as wire extensions, halo hair piece. Different salons use different names for the same method.

The gentlest option there is
Nothing is attached to your hair at all. For someone with fragile or shedding hair who has been told no by every other method, this is usually the one thing that still works.
Fitting is the whole job
The wire has to sit at the right height and be the right tension, and the weft has to be cut into your haircut. Set correctly it is invisible. Set wrong it lifts at the back and everyone sees it.
Who this is not for
Anyone wanting a high ponytail. The wire sits around the crown and needs your own hair covering it, which a high ponytail undoes.
Aftercare
- Take it off before sleeping and before sport.
- Store hanging so the weft keeps its shape.
- Wash every 10 to 15 wears.
Halo Hair Extensions, common questions
Does a halo damage your hair?
No. It rests on your head, it is not attached to any strand. It is the only extension method with essentially no mechanical risk to your own hair.
Can you see the wire?
Not when it is set at the right height with your own hair pulled over it. It becomes visible if you tie your hair up.
