Medical Hair Extensions in Istanbul
Medical extensions are fitted for hair that is thinning or recovering, using attachments that place no tension on the root and are placed away from fragile areas. They add coverage while your own hair is left alone to recover.
Also sold as extensions for thinning hair, hair densification. Different salons use different names for the same method.
The rule is no tension
Hair that is already shedding cannot carry weight. Everything about this fitting is built around that: lighter attachments, fewer strands, placed on the strongest sections and never on the thinning area itself. Coverage comes from hair placed around the gap, not through it.
A consultation, not a booking
This service starts with looking at your scalp and your hair under good light, and talking about what has been happening. Sometimes the answer is a fitting. Sometimes it is a smaller fitting than you expected. Sometimes it is that extensions are the wrong thing right now.
What we are not
We are a hair salon, not a clinic. We do not diagnose hair loss, we do not sell treatments and we do not make medical claims about anything we put on your head. What we can do is add hair carefully, without adding load.
Who this is not for
Active scalp conditions, and hair loss with a cause that has not been looked at yet. If we think you should see a dermatologist before you see a stylist, we will say so and we will not take the booking. That is a real answer we give and it costs us appointments.
Aftercare
- Very gentle washing, fingertips only, never nails.
- No tight styles at all while wearing.
- Come back for a check sooner than a normal refit, six to eight weeks.
